Workspaces, roles and what you can see

Your role template decides which workspaces and functions appear, on the web and in the mobile apps. Templates range from Admin (everything) through Planner, Dispatcher and Field Worker down to Client Viewer and Solo Operator.

Two things worth knowing:

1. Functions travel. Inspections, planned maintenance and work orders exist in several workspaces, each showing the right face: design in Plan, assignment in Schedule, execution in Service. Switching workspace mid-task keeps your place.
2. Locked items are visible. If a function needs a higher plan tier you still see it with a padlock; tapping it explains the upgrade rather than hiding the capability.

Admins manage templates under Admin, Team & Roles. A role change applies on the next page load and the next mobile app refresh.
